Happy Resilience

I hope this post finds you well and happy, adjusting to your new normal as we take things day by day. My days have blended together, like I'm sure so many of yours have and I heard it best a few days ago when someone said, "Is it the 95th of March?" March just seemed to go on and on and on!

I am in Texas and we have been staying home for weeks. I am not one who listens to the news much for a lot of reasons and I don't think you want me getting on my soap-box about that. I will say that I think the 'news' is more like a reality show, twisting and blowing stories up to be as dramatic and divisive as possible. And unfortunately, there really are no consequences for that kind of bad behavior in the media and people still watch, read and listen. So onto the light stuff I'm here to write about!

My heart is completely warmed by the resourcefulness and resiliency of people around the world during this crisis. So many companies and individuals are stepping up and coming together to help how they can. I wish I could share the stand-outs for me but there are a lot. There are also a slough of funny music parodies and memes, hopeful posts and reminders that we are all in this together and the air will clear soon.

So many people are in positions they have never been in before. I believe everyone has their own battles during this time and I think each realization, lesson and change in our lives will make us better in all the right ways. I have always had hope for us and I know that the phrase, 'We are all in this together' has never meant so much.

As I am looking for ways to continue Creating Happy during these uncertain times, I ask you to look for the good in your days. Start your day by thinking about something you are grateful for. Take good care of yourself by drinking plenty of water, eat a balanced diet of whole foods, (things from the earth, not from a box), stick with a routine, meditate (there are so many meditations on the web!), get plenty of sleep, exercise and move your body, have fun and enjoy this time you are given and before you go to sleep, think of something you are grateful for. These are some of the things I'm doing to stay balanced and centered through this strange and scary time in our lives.

I am currently rebuilding my website, so I can't send you there for inspiration,

but since that was April and this is November, yes I can send you to my website! Find art, words, FreeBee's and other happy things at www.creatinghappy.net. I am in the process of building up my email list so if you would like to share your email address, I will send you my Creating Happy newsletter with respect, once or twice a month beginning in May. I will not share your information. I wish you happy moments, peace and clarity. Thank You for reading, Take good care.

Happily, Debi :)
